I made this for dinner...

Baked Pork Loin Chops with Apples

My sides were roasted red potatoes with tarragon and garlic... and steamed vegetables.

I am on an apple kick so fresh home made apple strudel is for dessert. If they dont eat it for dessert it will be breakfast tomorrow.

I dont know how it will work out but Im hoping everyone likes it

Dear lord! Do you eat like this every night? I feel so inferior with my frozen Costco Orange Chicken.

lol no. I just try to eat as little frozen or processed type foods as possible. I try to cook with whatever is in season and as long as it takes less than 30 minutes to prepare Im good. I used to only make a few things but over time, I realized how important food is to my Chinese husband and stepdaughter so I put a lil effort in as it makes them both very happy.

Its not hard. I swear.

Tonight I was reminded was I shouldn't feel guilty my family is eating cream of wheat for dinner. After a long day at work I come home to this nice present from my family:

My 30 minutes of cooking a great meal is replaced with cleaning a mountain of dishes. I'm contemplating painting my dishwasher neon yellow and installing a "good job" audio when they access it. LOL
