    Northwood High is much more preferable than Irvine High - Northwood is being compared to UNI, the most preferred High School in IUSD. "On a side note, the HS for Stonegate will be Northwood High, not Irvine High like Woodbury, if that matters to anyone."

    laguna altura especially the interior lots will be a great little neighborhood to get into.  there are not that many homes there and pricing is somewhat like a second chance for those that didn't get in on turtle ridge or quail hill in phase 1 about 8 years ago.  hopefully their larger homes...

    this chart just doesn't work for irvine or any other nice area such as manhattan beach or westwood or beverly hills or newport beach. a nice home in woodbury or laguna altura is 1M and the avg net worth there isn't 6.8M.  i don't know anyone in irvine that fits into the chart - people live here...

    'Regular' Jumbo Loans from banks not backed by fannie and freddie are available again and i see minimal impact.  Banks are willing to lend again (don't forget that is their business and they have to get back to it sometime) and i see more banks getting back to business as things improve.
