Do you know how much they do clearview for?  On the website the only pricing I found was at 15.95 / sq ft but I think that's the standard shutter.  According to their license number #952124, they don't have a worker's compensation policy.

You can ask Golden West for clearview, Dave told me its usually around 5% more than what the estimate was for normal shutters. 

Just curious if you asked them for their license or am I the only one getting the run around.  You might want to try contacting Young at Express Blinds.  They are related, Uncle and Nephew I believe, and supposedly they do have the proper licenses.  It's the same price but if something happens...

Daniel from Shutters King was pretty good about responding when we had questions about different products and pricing.  However, once we asked him about his license, insurance and worker's comp policies, it's been a lot harder to get a response.

A quick update on the quote from Shutters King.  Apparently they have a minimum size of 10 sq ft so any window smaller than that will have a minimum charge.  That is the explanation I was given on why it wasn't exactly $13.95 / sq ft. For anyone deciding on going with Shutters King, they may...

Thanks for the thread, I too was looking into going with Shutters King but still in the preliminary process of getting estimates from multiple vendors. So without a DBA, the license is invalid and therefore they are operating without a license and insurance?

I got quotes from various places as well, but none were as cheap as what dealcatcher posted and some of them are the same vendor. I'm not sure if you are adding the frame into the sq footage calculation, but prices obviously will vary based on size of frame, material, type, etc, etc. Golden...

When we first went a few days ago, they had 3 plan 2's and a plan 3 (didn't ask about the plan 1s). When we went back yesterday, everything is spoken for (including a cash buyer for plan 3 @ 910+k). 

They didn't change it on the model, but if you ask you can go see it in one of the available lots.

Yea, but its nearly the same price.  When we went to look at Montecito 1, there were around 755k-ish.  According to the price sheet we got from Saratoga today, 2x is 730k.  I'm comparing Saratoga 2X with Montecito 1, not the two tracts overall since the other models of Montecito went well into...

They definitely don't have driveways, not sure if they will have sidewalks in front of all the homes.  I remember thinking Montecitos were overpriced, now several years later, nearly the same price gets you a smaller house with a smaller yard and no driveway at all. 

How are Maricopa 1's selling?  I remember we looked at a couple of phases and the only ones that were selling were plan 1's.  Maybe they feel it was underpriced  ???

It's up on the villages website (including floorplans).  Not a fan of the small island in all of the kitchen renderings, it reminds me too much of my current rental.

I've been by LV a couple of times as well and agree that its turning out pretty nicely.  I assumed that once some homes went up, it would drown out a bit of the toll road noise.  How has the noise been?

Affordable housing is different than affordable housing for the seriously mentally ill.

Not sure how it works and if a certain set of homes were 'zoned' for those seriously mentally ill, I'd rather not move in next to them if given the choice.  I have enough problems with people classified as normal.

How does one find out this info?  Stonegate is definitely one of my prospective targets and I would like to find out more info like this before I make my decision.  Thanks.
