When visiting a model home about 2 years ago, I heard that there was a planned shopping plaza on Irvine Blvd and Pusan (I forget if that is the exact cross street, but it is around there). Just curious, are there plans for any more new communities in Irvine? Are Beacon Park and Portola Springs the last ones? Also, does anyone know if there are plans to build another shopping center near the Portola Springs / Portola High School area?

I am on a call list for a new phase release and was wondering what I should expect from this call (I've been pre-approved and time stamped). If I get a call, does that mean I got the house? Am I expected to put the down payment? Anything else I should know?
