Hard water in Irvine?

When it doesn't rinse off that is definitely a sign of softer water. So maybe that salt water tank is working too well.

    The IHB Singles Club

heh, I caught the tongue in cheek on the second read. Sorry wasn't trying to pounce, just wanted to make sure I hadn't made it seem like women were the only picky ones.

    The IHB Singles Club

The same holds true for guys, Skek. I can't tell you how many guys I've been wingwoman for over the years that sit there going "too high maintenance" "too thick" "too many friends" etc. before they even walk up and say "hi." It cracks me up when guys wonder how the hot chick is always with...

    The IHB Singles Club

Having dated a number of "nerds" over the years, I get where you're coming from Cayci. But most of the characteristics you describe do not belong to just nerds, nerds just do it in relation to games and pcs. What about the sports guy who watches ESPN constantly, and lives his life based on what...

I hope I'm in the right place

I'm going to ask a question that might be more loaded than it's meant to be. So please let me try to explain myself before some of you pounce! Manchester, you mentioned that the bulk of potential buyers looking at your property were young, successful Asian couples. Your post also implies...

Google's Street View - Creepy or Cool?

I?m not trying to pick a fight, but
...but you are. A little bit. That's OK. I'll bite because it's 5:30 on Friday and I'm ready to go home. I will concede that the use of the word "interfere" was not the best choice of words, but I'm afraid my...

Google's Street View - Creepy or Cool?

We are nature. We are as much a part of this world as deer, beavers, and lions. Whatever we produce is also a part of nature, as is a beaver dam or an ant hill or a beehive. Unless you believe in some form of higher being, like God, you cannot seperate what human beings do from what...

    Chiropractor in Irvine?

sure, I was hoping for someone close to work/home for me, but I'd rather go to one recommended than just pic out of a book. I keep having a recurring pinched nerve in my shoulder blade that affects neck movement and I can tell something is not in allignment. I've never been to a...

    Agent-found Homes = Safer?

I met a woman while wine tasting in temecula a few weeks back who used to be realtor but now is doing exactly what you're describing. Running backgrounds on rental properties for people (only in the temecula area at this point). But she was offering a guarantee w/ her service that the house was...

Google's Street View - Creepy or Cool?

I remember watching a documentary recently about an area between two warring countries where the wildlife is thriving because no humans are present in the "green zone" between the two nations. I wish I could remember the two countries. For some reason Europe bordering the middle east comes to...

Google's Street View - Creepy or Cool?

I was a big fan of Elena Filatova, until it was revealed that much of her story was "more poetry" than reality. I think she's removed her defense of these accusations from her web site as I couldn't find it any more...

So what does one do with shrimp paste?

Dear Eff, As your roommate, who, upon discovering said shrimp paste in the refirgerator last night, sealed the paste in 2 ziploc bags so as to not contaminate the fresh produce; I think the highest and best use for the paste would be to sacrfice it to the landfill gods in a ritualistic...

    Summer Camp

The YMCA runs a great summer camp program for kids. My sister worked at summer camps both in NY (where I'm from) and in Mission Viejo, and found the quality of the programs to be equally as good on both ends of the country. They do a lot of activities with the kids, and also take them usually...

    Craiglist best for family rentals?

I've never lived in an IAC apartment complex, but I've lived next door to them for years now, and have evaluated them every time I've moved. The one thing I need is a 2 car garage, preferably attached. Which are almost unheard of at IAC properties. Though, I've also had to move twice now...

    Craiglist best for family rentals?

I know Westpark has tons of parks and tennis courts and pools available. I believe that is the case for most of Irvine. Honestly, Woodbridge is one of the older neighborhoods, and I would expect them to have the least amenities compared to the other areas, because of this.
