Pho Ha Noi / Irvine near Kohls - Albertsons

Salt is SALT.  Bland means no flavor (from spices .. basil, lemongrass, etc).  Oddly my favorite Thai Green Curry is at the Starfish in Dana Point.  Lots of tofu in it!! (if thats your thing)

Pho Ha Noi / Irvine near Kohls - Albertsons

Trust me, I wanted to LOVE the Wheel soooo much, but the food is very bland a flavorless.  We only went once and I should give it another try.  I remember having a horrible curry there.  No flavor.  usually this is my kind of place.  : )

Pho Ha Noi / Irvine near Kohls - Albertsons

I LOVE the lemon grass tofu from this place ... have it once a week since we moved here.  Would like to try another place that is vegetarian friendly (some menus are hard to understand) -- any suggestions?

    Roma D' Italia - Tustin

Went to this place once.  Did not like their eggplant.  It wasn't cooked well, and EP has to be cooked well go be good.  I like Peppinos / Lake Forest, Fianos / San Juan Capistrano and Jack's / Dana Point for EggPlant Parm.  Three that are the best!!  I'm from NJ so I know my EPP!!

    Luna Grill (Irvine Westpark)

I went to the LG at the Spectrum and it was horrible.  Sad excuse for a Falafel.  I wouldn't go back to this place.  On the same level as Daphne's and Blue Taverna.  Not good.  Best Falafel I had out here was at the America Cafe in Tustin.  Not crazy about a hook alounge, but its good!!!

    Peppino's Woodbury

I love the Peppino's  in Lake Forest.  Someone told me they used to be in Woodbury.  Where were they located and how long were they there?  I can't believe they didn't do well ? the Counter does well but its a very limited place and its not a place I enjoy.  Every place else is mostly for lunch.

    Chirping Sound

When I'm walking in the morning in some areas I hear a chirping sound.  It sounds like a smoke detector that needs a battery.  I can't tell where it's coming from ... does anyone know?  And no, its not a bird or animal.  Its an electronic chirp.  Thanks!!
