Bowing Out Gracefully from the Irvine Housing Market

I feel for all those who have a hard time finding the"perfect" home or the "right time" or simply can't pull the trigger until it's too late. I'm sure the "right time" was available to you over the past year or two you just didn't realize it. That's real estate for you. Rates have been under 4%...

    Columbus Grove or Portola Springs

The only newer neighborhood in Irvine that I would choose CG/S over is probably Laguna Altura. That has to be the worst location in Irvine. Talk about a poor location next to the 405/133 and wok bowl design. Those people and worst yet, their children, will probably have pulmonary problems for...

    Columbus Grove or Portola Springs

PS by a landslide. CG over CS but both are inferior to most of Irvine. Neither of the Columbus neighborhoods are close to recovering from the peak for a reason.

Mulberry in CV or Mendocino at SG

Test might be right about the 10% drop but who knows. Irvine turning into ghetto?

I know a few people who live in this community and for me it's a poorly designed neighborhood with only one way in/out. Also, a poor location across from the railroad tracks but it's adjacent to Irvine which is it's saving grace otherwise these homes should be selling closer to Santa Ana prices...

    Orchard Hills Rumor Mill

For those of you who have been waiting for Orchard Hills, the waiting will soon be over. Good luck on being able to afford it though. Word on the street is that The New Home Company will be one of the first developers, starting construction in early 2014. There will be at least 2 TNHC...
