Camelot academy of arts, science, and technology to be complete. Anybody with any opinions?

I don't know about other campuses of Fairmont, but the one in Santa Ana(north Tustin) has big bully issues.  I know several people who left that school because the school would do absolutely nothing about bullying. 

I noticed that at Stonegate, the student to teacher ratio is at the state's maximum allowed number which is 32:1.  Any of you a parent of Stonegate student?  Is this ratio a big problem?  Do they have teaching aid to help?  Do parents volunteer everyday to help?

I was wondering if someone on this board can help me out. I currently reside in Irvine, CA and own a house. I also own a high rise condo in Vegas that I purchased in 2007.  It is completely up side down.  I am hemorrhaging from keeping up with the mortgage payments, $2000-2500/mo. in the red...

anybody has any info on Pegasus private school in Huntington Beach?

I am at Portola and a lot of people are going with Jefferson Rand.  They seem to be doing good work but a bit pricey.  Anybody know a reputable company that don't overcharge?  For 2600 sq ft backyard/frontyard, $55-60K seems a bit much.  No pool, no barbeque pit. 

I heard that at Stonegate, it's 35 students in one class in 1st grade... That's almost unacceptable. My son went to Fairmont for preK and K and he liked it.  So he is still at Fairmont for now.  Finding out 35/1 ratio for student/teacher is not encouraging for me to consider public school at...

I heard a disturbing story this weekend.  I was told that many parents are giving monetary gifts to Northwood high school teachers.  Supposedly there is a limit on the monetary value of the gift, so apparently some parents are bypassing that rule by giving frequent gifts...  I think this should...

For those of you who purchased or thinking about purchasing the woodbury 2010 collection, were you told by the sales people that the kids would be attending Northwood high rather than Irvine High? I heard from a second hand source that that was the case...

Do elementary schools in Irvine have Gate program?  If so, what grade does it start?  Is it a separate class for gate students or just given a different assignment being in the same class as the rest of the non gate students?

I must say, when I first saw Portola Springs North homes especially las colinas, I thought I was stepping into a set from Universal Studios. The whole brown/beige color scheme didn't do it for me. But the more I visited the area, the more it started to grow on me and now it doesn't bother me...

mainly for my kids but I guess it can affect the resale as well...

When it comes to deciding between Woodbury and Portola Springs, do people consider the difference between Northwood High school and Irvine High School? The reputation and the national ranking indicate that Northwood is a better school. Any thoughts?
