Saratoga Landscaping - Approved Plans - Work Underway

The pavers look amazing, I'd be a happy camper too.  I will take a picture of the landscaping from the current place we are renting when I get a chance to show you what a crappy one looks like lol.

Saratoga Landscaping - Approved Plans - Work Underway

Looking really good so far, keep the pictures coming!  Sounds like I got a bit of saving to do for our future landscaping... I think I have a copy of that By Hand software, but mine doesn't work really well.  :-\

Sure did!  We are happy with our purchase, and the fact that we get a yard, and so far it has passed the smell test.  :P

    Flooring Contractor in Chino area

Hi, Does anyone have recommendations for flooring contractors in the Chino/Inland Empire area?  We just bought a home and are looking to install tile in the kitchen and engineered wood for the rest of the first floor after close of escrow in Sept.

What's the best piece of financial advice you've given or received?

Better to live rich and die poor, than to live poor and die rich. In other words, treat yourself don't cheat yourself.  To a point of course.

Awful Experience at Colibri, Portola Springs

Well, I tried to get everyone back on topic but it didn't work, so might as well add fuel to the flames. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuI2uag0lsI&feature=c4-overview&playnext=1&list=TLvbNImgTzrQA Weeeeeeeeee... the people!

Great Room + Kitchen flooring options?

I had a friend who last week didn't realize he had a slow leak from his refrigerator until another friend who was over realized water was seeping out of a nearby wood piece.  At that point you can only hope no long term damage will result.  :(

Awful Experience at Colibri, Portola Springs

I had this horrible experience at Colibri when visiting Portola Springs in search of a new house.  Did you know they kill dogs inhumanely and eat them in these parts, and toss the carcasses in the nearby landfill? Oh wait, that's not what this thread was about?  My bad.

Great Room + Kitchen flooring options?

They are, but the wood has more give that's for sure.  You can simulate these things by throwing a toy (let's choose Buzz Lightyear) on the tile vs wood.  Buzz can defeat the wood (ding it a bit), but most likely not the tile.

Great Room + Kitchen flooring options?

Wouldn't you be scared of your kids doing a face plant onto tile as opposed to wood?  We do not have kids yet, but this is our worry.  So the compromise is to get tile in the wet area (kitchen), and engineered wood for the living room and hallway.  We know we want light colors, just not sure if...

Great Room + Kitchen flooring options?

We have to decide on how to do our first floor as well.  We know we want light colors, and right now we're thinking of white engineered wood for the hallway/great room, transitioning into white tiles for the kitchen area.  Has anyone done or seen this combination before? I was wondering if...

Just because you can afford something, doesn't mean it's worth your money.

The Rise of Johns Creek, Georgia | Real Estate, Life Style, and Restaurants

Born in Fulton, raised in LA, went to college at UCI, figured I'd chime in.  I have siblings and a cousin that live in Duluth and Suwanee, their dream is to buy a home in John's Creek.  As a parallel, my dream was to buy a home in Irvine.  I work in Tustin.  Ironically, my cousin (an electrical...

    College Park in Chino

I have an answer to my own question.  Went to check out one of these Edgewood homes they had for rent (yes, they are renting it out already!).  Phase 1 has just finished building.  Apparently the buyer owns at least two of these tracts, had successfully rented one out already. Now I truly know...
