The lack of critical thinking here is almost stunning.  Literally the only proven occurrence of this was two years ago in North Carolina, and it was done by the republicans.

You really want to compare the present to 1950, when 1/3 of the students were "educated" without textbooks in schools without heat or cooling, and less than 60% of students graduated high school? Also, it is a heck of a lot cheaper to ignore or warehouse all the kids with learning disabilities...

Total economic output is 2019Q4 was ~$4.5 billion.  So when do you predict that the US GDP will rise above that level again, not gamed quarterly 'rate of change' from the trough, which we know is subject to wild swings, but when will we see *real* growth.
