This is why we will never sell our house. We will help them buy one and leave them ours as well.

Johns Creek ranks #1 Best Place to Live by U.S. News & World Report

Panda - hopefully you bought 4-5 homes back in the day and you can retire soon. This was amazing foresight on your part. Congrats. I’m a fan of the Atlanta area but not sure I would live in the area just because of the weather. Although I think it is probably one of the better weather options...

    President Trump

I highly doubt that. There is a lot of judgment in accounting which AI is not smart enough to replace. I have seen a lot of outsourcing of accounting and leveraging RPA I would fall in the top 10%. When you work at a public company there are a lot of things that need to be done besides just...

Are companies replacing finance/accounting functions with AI? I have yet to see leadership be replaced by AI. I don’t see that ever happening. Lower level transactional clerks can be replaced

    Stelo glucose sensor experience

I was actually at Albertsons and saw the hero bread. I was about to buy it when I saw the sodium in it. Each slice has 10% of your daily salt intake which is really high. I have been eating Dave’s inked seeded keto bread from Costco which has 5%, I eat two slices a day. I have high blood...

    Stelo glucose sensor experience

Good luck Momo. Both of my parents were diabetics and had amputations. My A1C came in at 5.6 up from 5.4 about 1.5 years earlier and that was enough of a scare to move to a lower carb diet. Now I get 40% of my calories from carbs, and 30-40%, each from fat and protein. It’s been about 3 months...

    College applications discussion

For service academies I can see why they would like the sports since physical fitness is more important there. But still not sure why it would/should matter for a normal school. None of the best leaders I’ve worked with in the corporate world played sports.

Another bad day tomorrow for the market. Nasdaq already is in bear territory, the S&P 500 of the futures hold will close in a bear market tomorrow and the Dow will be close to bear territory. I’ve been waiting for this kind of drop for like a year so will probably begin deploying cash into...

Should sports really play a part in getting into college? Especially with an already stellar resume? I know sports teach team building etc, but so do a lot of other things kids already do

That is pretty crazy. But you read stories like that all of the time. When my kids were first born I always hoped they would go to prestigious colleges but given how competitive it I am now ok o they just go the JC route and transfer in as juniors. What is the point of kids becoming adults at...

Starbucks is taking over. They opened up a new one on edinger and jamboree where the old jack on the box used to be. I never see anyone there. So if you are craving Starbucks and dont want to wait in the drive thru lane you can go here. They finally started construction on the Starbucks next...

If Trump can get these companies to invest in the US that would be great. But just like the tariffs, I’ll believe it when I see it. Overseas companies have promised investment in the pst that never came to fruition...

It says they’re assessing. Many companies will continue to assess. Setting up a new car manufacturing plant probably takes 6-12 months if not longer.

    President Trump

Well we will find out in their next couple of quarterly earnings calls. Any gross margin compression and they will probably blame tariffs. Then we will see if this article is legit. There is no way Walmart and/or Costco is getting all of their suppliers to eat all of the tariff costs.

And today Canada slapped a 25% export tax on electricity to certain north east states. This is going to be very interesting.
