    I am seeing closed sales in the last month lower than before. It really depends on the seller and whether or not they need the money asap. Otherwise they can wait until home buying season next year as it seems rates will be lower then.

    So I dug into this a little more and the grey area lies on whether actions committed prior to Cook being in the Fed can be used to get her removed. The alleged mortgage fraud was committed prior to her being in the Fed and not during.

    I would be shocked if they do not have evidence of Cook committing mortgage fraud and publicly calling her out for doing so. It sounds like Cook is trying to save face at this point by "suing" the government which I think is a joke and a waste of tax paying dollars.

    I think they are no longer building new homes and instead are selling the lots to builders. When each home closes, they take a commission off the final sale price

    Builders tend to leave the view lots in the last phase because they tend to increase price whenever possible prior to the last phase to maximize on the base market value + lot premium amount. It works well in a neutral and sellers market, but not when it's a buyers market.
