The one without the paywall?

My oldest running cars are 28 and 29 years old.  I've had them for 16 and 19 years, respectively.  Others I've had longer and are older, but probably only have 1 trip left in them to the scrapyard.  I've only ever bought used cars.  As a young adult I would buy my first car and truck well used...

The big question is what will sales volume do?  Or is inventory up because sales have been anemic?

I am shocked there are that many idiots working at Apple.  Does "more neuro-normative" mean less crazy and entitled?  If so, I am all for it. 

I'm used to describing trucks as rated in carrying capacity (e.g., 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, 1 ton, though it's a very antiquated system).  Crew cab, full size doesn't mean much.  All my trucks are crew cab and "full size".  For the ones you mentioned, I agree with you.  For my F350, not so much.  Like...

Maybe with a 3L V6.  MPG differences depend on the truck and the engine options.  The gas version of my diesel has better EPA ratings than what I see in the real world with my diesel, and the diesel gets much worse mpg than my 2 gassers.  No surprise, since the diesel weighs over 8000 lbs...

I'm not sure you realize how scary that prospect is.  The last time "creative financing" was all the rage, things didn't end well. 

Re: demographics and wealth and opportunities, I agree that wealth transfer will be a huge windfall for the younger generation, but from a social safety net standpoint, every generation has had it tougher than the one before.  R2D, you mentioned getting a free bus pass...is that even a thing...

Lordy, I don't think rates can get that high before the "ensuing crash" occurs.  And I'm not talking just real estate...all the governments will go bankrupt just trying to cover their debts.  Gold might become en vogue once again!

That is hilariously incompetent.  Shoulda laid off the HR and software staff last maybe.    More than once have I been notified of workforce reductions at my work site from the local newspaper.

$3?  Have you seen the news?  Difference between my nearest costco and my nearest Chevron is $1.05/gal of regular, per the gasbuddy website.  Easily a $15 savings for a lot of people.  Even if it took 30 minutes, that's $30/hour of after tax "discretionary" income, well above median pay in this...

Any survey that ranks San Fran as #3 best US city for families has to be flawed.  That's just plain ol' f'ed up.

But see, for me, it's a "dream upgrade", whereas for you it's yet just another trip down to the Porsche dealer on a day that ends in "Y".  Maybe you buy it and let me get it off you used when you get tired of it in August?  Please?  :D
