It's not as quick as the Plaid...but either is more than quick enough for me. The meaningful difference, from what I've read, is that the Taycan lives up to its reputation as a Porsche, whereas the Plaid lives up to its reputation as a Tesla lol.

USPS did that to me once, and I was freaking out.  $1200 worth of stuff in a ~8"x8"x8" box, and insurance was not an option when I checked out.  Showed up the next day, after I had already filed an online report with the postmaster.  UPS will do it too, very rarely.  I assume it's to spiff up...

So salaries will have to go up to keep them here, their jobs will leave too, or prices will drop, or some combination of the 3 will happen.  Actually, that is already happening.

Meh.  I'm in that line but it's part of the routine.  Drop the wife off so she can start shopping, and I go fill up.  I've timed it when I was in the longest line I've ever been in, and it was a grand total of 14 minutes in and out.  Sure, maybe still not worth $3 if time was the only factor...

I just paid about 1/3 less for some ribeye steaks this week than I have been this year from the same Costco.  Deflation is starting to take hold!
