New home company: 40 homes 3800-4200sqft gated in Orange

No Charter school exists in Orange with a track record to top colleges. Troy is a regular school but also accepts students based on merit from outside of the district. OCHA has done well the last few years with one student being accepted at all 8 ivies and many more attending the top colleges...

Harvard Admits 4.6% of Applicants; Other Ivy League Schools Get Tougher, Too

Unfortunately children of privilege upbringing lack the real human experience. The lack of depth came through during the interview. The rich helping the poor Africa trip glamping trip is gimmicky but still being passed around at Dum Sum eateries. Peers gossips pressured parents to enroll...

Harvard Admits 4.6% of Applicants; Other Ivy League Schools Get Tougher, Too

4 Years passed by quickly and my daughter will be graduating from college this May. The quality of her education has been stellar and it is not an Ivy school. There are many choices out there for a quality education. I do think the quality of education is better at universities with smaller...

Deco at Cadence Park - Great Park

Deco will have some new plans and have some resemblance to Carlisle. The deco elevations are replaced by modern traditional elevations. A brand new floor plan at the back of the cluster will face the Art Walk. The entry door will not be off the typical paseo. The smallest 2 BR plan from...

    US News college rankings

Some colleges did really well in the US News and not so well in Forbes. Colleges can focus on improving their data for one but rarely for both. Parents should compare both and choose schools consistently ranked similarly for the last 6 years. Weed out the inconsistent colleges. The misleading...

FivePoint buys back Broadcom office campus in deal that could add 1,000 homes

Right IHO 3CWG is across the front with 3CWD in front. The front door and house to the side and behind the garage. He prefers the "o" plan where the rooms wrap around the stairs.

FivePoint buys back Broadcom office campus in deal that could add 1,000 homes

I have warned you in 2006 and reminded you every other years thereafter 3CWG will never be built ever in Irvine and Irvine fringes. Even in the crappy Inland empire it is outlawed. You will have to go way out in Antelope Valley to find new built with it.

Good thing that Best potsticker in town was not among the judges who voted this project the best design in the western USA.

Affirmative Action Battle Has a New Focus: Asian-Americans

Asian applicants from Irvine would be in a greater disadvantage. The top private colleges not only set racial quotas but regional racial quotas as well. A North Dakota Asian applicants has a much higher chance of being accepted.

Orange County Great Park: Sports park, water park, ice rink, golf course

Rather than building massive sport complexes historical precedents indicated the land would have been used otherwise for more apertments, strip malls and business parks. I applaud these athleticism inspired land uses and provides a mixed use opportunities to promoting better health. The cultural...

Orange County Great Park: Sports park, water park, ice rink, golf course

This is not the lame pocket parks we are used to seeing. World class sports parks, Olympic caliber organizations and 2028 Olympic in Los Angeles we will see GreatPark possibly contributing to hosting one or more events and possibly be the training ground for athletes. During the 1984 Olympic the...
