Seriously, it is like going to Wikipedia to get information on a political event (there is bias in all these ‘authoritative’ tools). You have to think critically and check sources.
I think in general things were great when John Legere took over at T-mobile. But he left over 5 years ago after the merger with Sprint was complete and it has been a steady decline since. It feels like they are following a Private Equity playbook.
It is so crazy to see something like this happening in Cupertino (where the median sales price is 2x Irvine). Years ago (prepandemic), I had my car window smashed and backpack stolen in Cupertino while eating pizza and the cops didn’t take a report or even bother to come out. Event traumatized...
Don’t worry, I’m sure the reason it is less than predicted is because global warming is causing adverse weather elsewhere which explains this calm Atlantic hurricane season. :ROFLMAO:
They offer some services in a partnership with T-mobile called T-Satellite.
I wish I could ditch T-mobile completely and I don't think Verizon and AT&T (or any of the MVNOs) are any better.
With the $17B purchase of spectrum from Echostar announced today, could we have an option to purchase...
I was just talking to some other parents at a school event this weekend where we were remarking on how safe and clean the public transit is in Japan and China. Is there any public transit in America that you feel is safe and clean?
I saw this story first on ZeroHedge (which btw linked to many IHB articles back in the early days, thank you!):

And when trying to explain that none of the legacy media was...
I don't understand why the 'panics' were shoved down our throats for decades (for clicks/views/subscriptions/Nielsen ratings?). And then if you question it, you would get cancelled/ostracized/mobbed (obviously this has been changing lately).
So, what's the pulse on the Irvine (and OC and beyond) market? It seems like closings have significantly decreased in the past couple months. Yeah, I know it is end of summer, cyclical yada yada... Anyone seen any good charts to show what has been happening recently?
Granted I haven't dug into the details on this news item, but it sure seems like there is something shady. And a Fed governor should absolutely know better. The self dealing (on both sides of the aisle) needs to end and have consequences.
If my city is so poorly run that it is not safe, then I would welcome any means to improve it. I'm curious to hear accounts from people who are living in DC. Are things better? Are there military forces out on the streets? What are they doing?
Every though 'things have been getting better', it is still really bad:

Absolutely! I've had high cholesterol my whole life and never started a med until recently too. Tried a statin and had a horrible itching reaction so my cardiologist got me on Repatha. It is a shot (auto pen) taken every 2 weeks. Less potential for side effects. Insurance doesn't like approving...
It takes away the food noise so I can make better decisions about what I eat. And I binge less. I'm also drinking less. I've heard that it helps with other addictions like gambling as well. The effects seem to decrease by day 5.
The shot part is incredibly simple and easy. I was put off by the...
For Triglycerides, I found that taking a spoon of fish oil helped bring my levels down. This is what I've been using lately: https://www.amazon.com/Carlson-Omega-3s-Norwegian-Sustainably-Sourced/dp/B001LF39RO/
