Have you guys noticed what a pain in the a$% it has been to go down Sand Canyon. Even though I know its construction, wait until they fully build out Cypress Village, and the rest of the developments. If they ever put stores near the 5 and sand canyon, say goodbye to easy traffic. :-) I've said...
With Laguna Altera not really selling, the economy sputtering along, does TIC really think there is demand for this? Who the hell are the economists that work for TIC anyways?
Don't forget the 5000 homes in the Park (not TIC), but still lots of building. I've never seen another company react...
Well, all kidding aside, why would you buy in Portola or Stonegate if you knew about the landfill expansion.
Also, if they are going to expand, which routes are the trucks going to take? Up and down Sand Canyon?
I said the same thing on a number of occassions....there is much construction on sand canyon and with a number of new homes and apartments that are being build around there, traffic will be a nightmare down sand canyon after all is said and done.
That goes for home maintenance also. But the ordinance can be interpreted...what does limit delivery. If they usually have 20 trucks going there and now they have 5, isn't that limiting hours?
How about you're building too many homes? Is there really that much demand and job openings in companies in Irvine?
Even rentals..go look at "The Park" apartments. They will depress prices if they keep building at this rate.
I like your thinking Indy. Buy Gold, Silver, Platinum and guns. I'm doing that to a certain extent. You think we can live on low interest and deficits forever :-)
