Newer Irvine listings with crazy WTF asking prices from equity sellers

Yikes! What's up with kitchen back splash? At this price you'd think they remove the 6" granite that came with the house and redo the entire space under the upper cabinets with glass tiles. Ugh...

    Hidden Canyon in Irvine

The sales guy told me there is someone interested in the Capri model home. He expects a deposit made for it next week. That would leave Portifino as the only model home left.

    Hidden Canyon in Irvine

Latest price sheet from Capri. Pretty much the only homes remaining are quick delivery homes, a couple of homes on smaller lots, and the models. There is still a row of non-view lots opposite Marbella models that won't go up for sale for another 3 months.

$900k for Single Family Home in Irvine? 2019 possibilities !

I doubt Trump can deliver on most of what he throws around during the campaign, he's got to fight his Republican congress first. As for these real estate related deductions, at the income level needed to afford homes in Irvine, if you are a working stiff earning a salary, AMT wipes out any...

    Parasol Park

Holy smokes! Take home pay after tax of $25k? That's an annual income of close to $450K. How many buyers like this exists Irvine, especially for a house with no drive way?

    Hidden Canyon in Irvine

How Alta Vista does compared to Marbella will be a good indication of how buyers view HC compared to OH at top of Irvine price range.

    Hidden Canyon in Irvine

HC is a huge success for TB. Capri is almost sold out in under 2 years. That's a pretty amazing feat given the price range and the fact that some homes have very modest lot sizes. Marbella will probably take another year to sell out but still impressive at its price range with the most...

    Hidden Canyon in Irvine

You'd think that. But, you'd surprise how many HC buyers moved from Newport Coast. NC view is nice. But, the homes are often older and the design/layout feel dated. It's a pain getting in and out. And, the schools are subpar.

The model homes will surely have a view on the 2nd floor. So, there is still a view premium. The first floor view will likely be partially blocked.

Plans to replace Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre next to Great Park

Are you saying Jimmy Buffet is not a FCB magnet? ;D This was Duran Duran. I really expected a much more diverse audience for such a big name group. It was only marginally more so than Bryan Adams concert I went to a few months earlier. They both killed it. Great concerts. I'm going to miss...

Plans to replace Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre next to Great Park

Well, Irvine Meadows certainly serves more than just Irvine. The audience at the concert I went to definitely did not reflect the demographics of Irvine. It might have been the single whitest gathering in Irvine from my recent recollection.  :)

Plans to replace Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre next to Great Park

I hope that's the case. But, I heard the permanent amphitheater will be similar size to the temp one. That would be very disappointing.

Plans to replace Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre next to Great Park

It's a disappointing that the new proposed amphitheater will be quite a bit smaller. Irvine Meadows has capacity for 16,000 (not sure if that includes the lawn section) while the new venue will only be 12,000. It doesn't make sense given that Irvine and OC has boomed in population since Meadows...
