lol, I joked about this with my friends - having whites in Irvine is considered diversity. Our kids class usually is 30 students and typically out of 30 there will be 2 or 3 white (non-Hispanic) kids.

There is a significant uphill drive on Alton pkwy, also - there is a bigger industrial compound in lake forest than Irvine which has no green space at all.

If anything I am hesitant about lake forest is that during summer days it is usually 5-8 degrees hotter than Irvine.
