    Toyota moving to Texas

But my proposal will still work. NBA players and all other professional athletes that are out of state pay Ca income tax when they play at the staples center. Why shouldn't companies pay to play in CA.

    Toyota moving to Texas

I think we should start taxing all corporations outside of CA that do business in CA at least 1-5% of their CA sales regardless of profit. Those that are headquartered here wouldn't be affected by this tax. Probably could result in a tax cut to all businesses and individuals in CA.

Rebate on New home purchases - Discuss

I've seen some advertisements that state they will rebate anything over 2% from their fee paid to them by the builder to the home buyer.  I'm not sure if there are any additional catches to this or what this means exactly.  I'll guess when the time comes I'll have to ask and see whats down in...

Rebate on New home purchases - Discuss

So i'm looking at picking up another property when Orchard Hill is released.  How does this rebate program work exactly when bringing an agent on the first visit.  If the builder is offering $15,000 to the agent, how much of this rebate is the agent refunding to me?  What is their take and will...

    Built-In and Media Niche

Furniture grade.  $4200.  The home-builder offered something less custom for around $6000.  So i'm glad I opted for what I did. It did take them forever from contract to delivery, 3 months and they left a mess in my garage.

Yes,  we worked with Doug. There has been some challenges.  Overall, we got what we wanted at a reasonable price.  But, I was there every step of the way to make sure nothing was missed.  Fortunately, I had picked a week for my install when I wasn't working so I was able to watch them like a...

    Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Filter

My water bill is under $35/month without a permeate pump for my RO and I have sprinklers in use everyday for about 2-3 min. Its never gone over $45/month.  But for $120 its probably a $40 part and rest labor.  Negotiate.....

    Pergola Trellis Covering

Pergola's starting prices are around $20 - 25/ sq ft including installation for all wood.  I recommend against the aluminum pergola's if its attached to the home because its noisy when it rains.  It gets old fast..

    Built-in BBQ Grill Recommendations

Two places I recommend are:  Both are relatively inexpensive with lots of selection and relatively close by.  Note the hours on the latter.  http://www.bbqgrillsandislands.com/http://www.ocbbq.com/

    COX v. UVERSE

I would go with Cox.  I had Uverse FTTP Internet and you dont get what you pay for.  I was testing the Uverse broadband for the FCC with the Sam I Know program.  Dropped ATT Uverse service immediately shortly thereafter.  Now I use Cox.  http://www.fcc.gov/measuring-broadband-america
