when I first moved to newport coast there was no shopping at all. Then they put in the pavillions and now have starbucks, sharkeys, an italian place, mustards delicatesen etc. I too was bummed when they closed Soma...I guess healthy food is not a big seller. BTW I shop at Pavillions occasionally...
