I am not knocking on you taking the toll road, but seriously how many other people would do this?  My logic is if you are willing to pay $35/month on toll road fees, then WB already should already have a $35/month premium over PS. I really don't buy that there will be this "sudden" premium...

Once the Great Park is built, Woodbury will continue to command a higher premium than PS.  Also, imagine how many more minutes it will take to get to the freeway once Stonegate East, Stonegate, Woodbury, Woodbury East, the Great Park and whatever they are going to build on those strawberry...

I wish I was doing it myself.  I hired someone to do it.  They claim that it was unnecessary to put down moisture barrier in Irvine.  They said it was a scare tactic.

I think these detached townhomes make a great rental property once you move out of there.  Every single one of my neighbors who has moved out for the past seven years have converted them to rentals.  They didn't even try selling them.     

This is almost getting to comical.  $417k is his loan amount, not his down payment.

We decided with Floorplan 3 as well.  We like the added loft space that plan 2 couldn't give us.  If we didn't get Sonoma, we'd probably go for Carmel II plan 2.  I haven't heard any negative about the Sonoma project so far.  They been pretty much on time with their proposaled deadlines...

Any regrets?  Have you moved in yet?

You are not being paranoid, just not paying attention since these homes have been in the process of being built since January.  Which homes are you referring to?  You can talk to the superintendent in charge and ask them questions. 

You can opt to have the Carmel I layout in Carmel II, they will credit you some money.  I personally like the location of Carmel II over Carmel I.  With the new layout of Plan 2, there doesn't seem to be a wall where you can put a couch up against in the Great Room like in the model .  It's no...

I went there too.  It's hard to envision w/out any walls.  I don't even know where the windows will be.  It's funny because the house does look smaller without any walls up.

I agree.  The added rooms don't functionally make sense. 

We had 6 people in the house.  Let's face it.  Unless you have friends coming over all the time, a living room is a big waste of space in this day in age for a 2500 sq ft house.  Also, all the old style homes have 8 foot ceilings.  Way too low for me. 

I feel like the "O" floorplans have a lot of wasted space.  I grew up in one of those houses and I swear we only used half the first floor.  The dining room and living room were hardly walked on.

Walking through the unfinished Sonoma homes, I want to say only 1 out of 6 homes got the built-in from the builder.
