Those are Madagascar Jasmine.  Very beautiful vines.  I saw them in a model home in CV and wanted it for my own yard. Yes there is.  There is a wood divider.  There is also nails to keep the grass down, amongst other stuff they put in the artificial turf to keep it in good condition.

The real question is, do you think Mr. Z is really the type to mow???  :P

Just a quick update.  Finally got my approval letter from the HOA!!!  Woohoo!!! 

I ended up talking to the principal because the paper cut was just one of 3 main concerns I had.  So far all is well now.  Guess Irvine teachers require royal treatment and pampering.  Something I'm not accustomed to. They should do a teacher swap as a reality TV show and swap out Irvine...

I don't think I have any privets in my yard.  But I do have a potato vine that attracts the potato/tomato caterpillars... They call them hornworms.  The gross green kind that has a spike on the tail.  They grow into hawk moths. But I know hawk moths aren't the only moths in my yard.  I'm gonna...

Of course.  Just look for the motor court with the banner, balloons, canopy, food, and drinks.  Got lots of drinks from Costco ready to go.  Thank goodness I have 3 trash bins from WM.

I had a great experience at the event as well.  Food is pretty good too.  I ended up sitting at Chairman's table.  Pretty cool table ... Our table chatted up so long we were the last to leave. So if you can attend ... Definitely go and kids are welcome too. 

The insects are loving this weather. I had to call my pest control guy out for an extra spray today. I have black aphids, lotsa spiders, tons of moth, flies .. Big and small ... And even a few giant Mosquitos outside and inside.  The hummingbirds I'm feeding isn't doing much eating these bugs...

Thanks I think I will do half from Stone Fire and half from Urban Plates.  Urban plates chicken is pretty good and comes with several sides for everyone to choose from.

Perhaps it's a public college?  Private might pay more? I know a few college professors want to teach public schools ... That's where the money is.  But most can't handle/stand the behavior issues. Teaching college kids vs ones going through puberty are night and day.

Lots of homes in Lake Forest have 3CWG and it's not much better.  I know because I grew up on such a street ... 3cwg garages + huge long drive ways + 10k+ square foot lots.
