yea but why would you pay additional taxes for a "decent" public school? i seriously don't understand why people would pay such a premium for a public school. Sure, portola high is new and the facilities might be the state of the art compared to other schools but how much of a benefit does that...
They already made most of their money by selling the land to the other builders. The commissions that IP receives per sale of home is probably not as lucrative compared to selling the land. Raising the price by 100k vs 50k for example isn't really going to make or break the bank for IP.

That's generally poor parenting. Kids wouldn't normally be that way unless it's pressure from their parents.
Don't get me wrong, education is important. But to say a kid needs to go to the BEST Elem/Middle/High school and University is definitely overkill. What I don't want is my kid to know...
I’ve been very clear about my personal thoughts of schooling. There isn’t that many ways to teach 1+1 or calculating a derivative. I’d rather focus my efforts on having my kid be gritty than have 4.0 GPA but will be useless when they are in the real world solving real problems
oh my god, I don't know about you but my brunch experience was horrible at DFC. I have never had something that was not edible in my life. The macaroni & ham soup smelled like @$$. My friends dish was also all dried up. Only thing good about it was the HK milk tea that was included as part of...
If school district is a problem, the amount you save buying in LF will easily help fund your kid for private school. Why pay a premium for a public school?
It's crazy even attached condos (both walls attached) are going for ~1.1m in LF.... Insane. way too expensive if you ask me and not worth the price.

hate != constructive criticism.
Also, it shouldn't matter whether someone likes or doesn't like Irvine on TI. As you said on your previous post, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Last time I checked, it's called talk irvine, not irvine lovers.
I’ve been critical about communities in LF/Tustin as well not only Irvine. 🙂
I think it’s always beneficial to hear a contrary opinion. Sure, one might not agree. But that information is always useful for a potential buyer.
Lastly, what kind of question is that? Why is one on TI? Are we trying...
Please don’t compare a Rolex to a home. The market for a Rolex is internationally recognized. No offense, but Irvine is not. Please don’t make an argument that it’s internationally recognized because a couple of countries in Asia know about it.
I’m completely fine agreeing to disagree here...
