    Pocket door for master bath?

Thanks guys. Actually I need the door to block out noise too, as running water/electric shaver...etc can be fairly loud. I love the look of the barn door! Thanks for the suggestion. Since it doesn't sit flush against the walll, is it good at blocking out noise?

    Pocket door for master bath?

Our new home's master bath does not come with a door. The only upgrade option for a door is a pocket door for $1800. I can't decided if we should get it... On one hand, it seems almost indispensable when one person needs to turn on the light and shower while the other is still in bed. On the...

Orchard Hills - Terrazza by Irvine Pacific

I think it depends on the location, even when they both have driveways. Some units with driveways have the same setback (~5) from the California room (same as the model), others are 8.6.

Those two on Redfin are attached. Capistrano's floor plans are great, just wish they were detached.

Orchard Hills - Terrazza by Irvine Pacific

The school district  makes THAT big of a difference? Thought I've seen plenty of Irvine homes in TUSD with minimum price break... And I thought Beckman is an awesome school? Now I'm starting to question my decision on Petaluma...

Orchard Hills - Terrazza by Irvine Pacific

Just curious - with 4 bedrooms and a loft, why is Terrazza's plan 1 about the same price as Petaluma??

[IHB] Portola Springs: Indigo Neighborhood Review

This is basically Caserta at CV. I'm very surprised Residence 3 starts at a higher price than existing 3s at CV, given that Indigo is in PS.

    Eastwood is way over priced

You stopped by Petaluma on Sunday and phase 5 was out?  :-\ I'm on their priority list and have received emails for all their past phase releases. I've been waiting for phase 5, but have not gotten any email or call... Do you have any more information? Can you please post the prices? Thanks!

[IHB] Eastwood Village: Petaluma Neighborhood Review

I don't have any kids right now, but we plan to have 2. I'd like them to have their own room. Since I don't actually have any kids now, I was wondering if my fears of needing 4 rooms with 2 kids is founded

Also I noticed TC plan 1 and plan 2's great rooms are facing each other with lots of windows. Could that cause a privacy issue?

[IHB] Eastwood Village: Petaluma Neighborhood Review

Yeah Silverleaf's floor plan looks interesting. But it is in PS which we are not considering. Here is our situation. Maybe I can get more input from all the wise posters here :) We plan to have 2 kids, We are both on our computers a lot, so we'd also like a place for our computers and books...

[IHB] Eastwood Village: Petaluma Neighborhood Review

Wow I love TI! Thanks Inc! Now I know I can wait for Trellis Court, knowing if I end up not liking it, there will still be plenty of Petalumas. Now only if I can predict how much P is gonna go up... :P I assume the ones in lot 8 will come out first?

[IHB] Eastwood Village: Petaluma Neighborhood Review

When I looked end of last year, all leftover plan 2 and plan 3s were above 800K. And since they were leftovers, they all have upgrades I didn't care for.

[IHB] Eastwood Village: Petaluma Neighborhood Review

Do we know there will be a phase 2 for sure? If yes, which area? I think there's a block above the cell and a block below. Think prefer the block below. I'd prefer the extension, though I fear prices might get ridiculous like Jasmine extension, and that there might not be driveway lots.

Trellis Court at Cypress Village East

Is this going to be in BP community? Or Cypress Village East?

Eastwood Petaluma floorplan - No loft for kids?!

Darn I do like Trellis Court more, but it won't come out for a while so I won't know all the details to fairly compare it against Petaluma. E.g what is the price gonna be like? How is it going to look in real life?..etc. I wish there is a return period on new houses... :p

[IHB] Eastwood Village: Petaluma Neighborhood Review

As of phase 4, the driveway premium is 40k. Though it was 30k for the first phase.

Eastwood Petaluma floorplan - No loft for kids?!

Ok... I do understand a spare room is more ideal. But the price for a 4 bedroom house is much more than a 3bedroom house so this is not an apple-to-apple comparison. In the case of having a loft,  most of the times the builder makes other things smaller (e.g. master bath, great room...etc) to...

Eastwood Petaluma floorplan - No loft for kids?!

Cal pacific's homes have lofts starting under 1500sqft with 3bedrooms. The great room is not as big and the master bath usually doesn't come with a tub, but yeah, you get a loft instead. Too bad none of those are available (e.g. Jade Court, or Silverleaf if not in PS). But they do have attached...

Eastwood Petaluma floorplan - No loft for kids?!

I was very adamant about having a loft when I started my search too. Ideally, I would like to get a detached Cal Pac home, as they usually have lofts/bonus rooms. But none are available unless you go to PS. So I was pretty set on getting a Caserta plan 3. I absolutely loved the floor plan, but...
