    Great Park Neighborhoods

Been trying to figure this out.  Is Phase 2 going to be more valuable than Phase 1?  Buying a house now will put a lot of stress on me as I really need to focus on work.  I see earth movers yesterday starting on the Phase 2 area already.  I work less than a mile from Phase 2, and that is part of...

Eastwood Village (Planning Area 5B) coming 2017

I was hooked on Messina Plan 3, but gobears is right about the kitchen.  For the size of the house, the kitchen is rather on the smaller side.  Especially Plan 3.  I was trying to justify it and I couldn't make it work.  Sales lady was saying I could add a dinner table between the sliding glass...

Eastwood Village (Planning Area 5B) coming 2017

Been looking at Pavilion Park and none that I seen were 10ft ceilings.  At first it really bothered me, but then I thought of the long term aspect.  Changing out light bulbs would be slightly more time consuming, heating and cooling will be slightly more expensive.  At the end money talks for me.

Eastwood Village (Planning Area 5B) coming 2017

What is wrong with Orchid Hills?  I was looking there as well, but I wanted the gated community by the small reservoir/lake on the Irvine side.

Does anyone know if those White HOV decals get to use the Toll Roads for free?  My employee told me this and I never verified the information.

If I had to guess, your rate could be around $0.25 per kW/hr, I don't know if there are interconnection charges and other taxes that will be tacked on.  It may be $64.00, let me know when it comes in because I am very curious myself.

    Inventory creeping up?

The air has water content of at least 40-60%.  There is a lot of water everywhere, which will require energy to extract.  For examplehttp://www.eolewater.com/ A fully self sufficient water generation setup using wind power.  Not feasible for California because water is cheap, and that system...

    Broadcom moving to GP

You are correct, they shut down their Baseband mobile chips because none of their competitors want to acquire it, even pennies on the dollar valuation.  Last month they announced they will be cutting 1/5 of their total workforce because of this decision.  Because of these adjustments, Broadcom...

In terms of monthly production it does help with your electricity bill.  That is a nice cushion before going over the pricing Tiers.

    Quinterra at Portola Springs

I noticed the listings on redfin are not 100% accurate for example 104 Tomato Springs.  I last looked at the house it is still being built.  It looked like the framing was done.

What is the size of your system?  Somewhere between 12kw to 14kw?  254kW/hr is pretty respectable number.  Just curious to know which type of inverter and solar modules you went with.

Pavilion Park: Melrose by Ryland Homes

They are slowing down.  As of yesterday, they had a lot of foot traffic, but the sales office was slow.  If anyone is looking to get a Plan 1, they have a corner lot #54 for $1,515,000.  I didn't understand why no one took the deal until I reviewed the Elevation.  It is a Farmhouse in Red. ...

    Great Park Neighborhoods

What is that 254 kW/hr?  What it was produced or what you used?  Typical usage per household is about 10.1 kW/hr per day during summer and 9.2 kW/hr per day during winter period.  Whatever that 254kW/hr is, if it is what your solar panels produced, it is quite amazing.  If it is what you have...

Sales at The Groves in Orchard Hills slowing down?

Trevi and Amelia looks like they are almost sold out.  So indeed the $2M+ markets are still strong.

    How much does size matter?

One topic to consider is that with a larger yard means more costs especially when it comes to hardscapes.  I spent $200k alone in my old house in San Diego and I regretted putting that much money in the yard.  Without maintaining it, it can quickly look horrid.  Which is the reason why I don't...

If you can do it yourself, you should.  Contractor's workers are not the most caring people in the world when they work on a job.  Especially your new house.
