Looking for a 3 bedroom rental in Stonegate/Woodbury area

You should look into Northpark, the guard gated neighborhood.  There are some condo fitting your specifications and under your price range.  Very nice area!

Proposed cemetery near Great Park and the new Irvine 5th high school

The Irvine Company has the most to gain.

Silvermist (Beacon Park) vs The Summit (Baker Ranch)

It is not the cemetery for sure.  For me it was the CFD that bothered me the most.  Then again, all that is tax deductible against my income anyways so it doesn't really matter after I thought about it that way.  I think SilverMist is the best deal along with Cressa for Irvine School District. ...

Portola High - more testing hearing

the school is almost completed, what are they hoping to achieve? tearing it down?

    Beacon Park, Yea or Nay?

Not a fan of Beacon Park, but just signed the paperwork today.  My worries is more about possible odor from the future farm fields that are 1 mile away from our tract.  Secondly, once the Great Park finishes the sports park that is public.  I just hope that doesn't increase the crime rate, since...

Auburn at Stonegate by Richmond American

You can see the models being built driving past on Portola Springs.  It does look really nice.

TOLL BROTHERS BUILDING IN ORCHARD HILLS - EXCAVATION OF LAND GOING ON NOW !!!!

Looking at the success at Baker's Ranch, I don't think TUSD will be a challenge for Toll Brothers.  I am really excited to see what they are going to put out.

    Eastwood is way over priced

Hard to sell a $1.3 million dollar home (Plan 3) without seeing a model home.  At these prices I would say Palo Alto (KB Homes) is a deal compared to Belvedere.

Anyone ever bought Refrigerator and Washer/Dryer through the builder

No, never did.  When I asked for the pricing, it was expensive (Orchard Hills - The Groves), the price was something like a car at $20,000+.  The built-in fridge is going to cost you more, in the future that built in cabinetry will limit your choices on replacement or servicing.  I would just...

Cressa at Portola Springs - The New Home Company

So much discussion about possible discrimination based on the housing act, is anyone even remotely serious about starting a lawsuit?  Or just practicing for the debate club?

Eastwood vs SG vs Woodbury vs PS

I feel the same way.  This time there are multiple factors that could come all crashing down.  Bubble in the Private Equity markets, ETF Bonds from subprime business lending, housing prices are close to prior levels before the subprime home loans (at least in Irvine), all my clients have...

Stair Carpet and 2nd floor carpet different?

I'm going with carbon fiber on mine.

Eastwood vs SG vs Woodbury vs PS

PS3 prices will be appreciated by the Great Park developments, but the section 8 housing... I don't know how that will affect it.

    Belvedere at Eastwood

Wow Belvedere is expensive.  I would rather pay a little more and get Pulte Homes (Sycamore or Walnut) in Beacon Park, Capella (Plan 3) in Orchard Hills or even Palo Alto (Plan 1,2,3) in Stonegate for that price range.

    Legado at Portola Springs III

I was surprised of how nice the Legado turned out.  Felt like a mini La Vita style home that is so much more affordable.  It seemed the homes did very well with the utilization of the size.  The master bedroom and bath were nicely appointed.  Since I am looking for a SFR, I would not be buying...

    Poll: New Home Delivery Condition

When I go look at models I see a lot of minor errors.  Even some drawers not aligned squarely with each other.  Cracks developing between the cracks.

Cressa at Portola Springs - The New Home Company

The rep said they do offer Broker Co-Op, but didn't say how much.  Anyone know?

    Eastwood is way over priced

I noticed Marin Plan 2 side of the house was used as a wall for Plan 1.  Does that even make it a SFR?

    The recession is coming

This is what I saw personally.  A Northpark condo just sold for $630,000 a few days ago after being on the market on and off for 6 months.  I didn't think it was going to sell, but it did.

Beacon Park- Buy Now or Wait!?

It would be incredibly hard to time the perfect moment to sell and buy.  Where would you live in the meantime while you wait for the house price to drop.  Is it better to sell your current dwelling at market highs and buying the house at market highs?  Or selling your dwelling at lower price and...
