    Foreclosure and distressed property topics

<p>I know people trying to sell their "investment property" as quickly as possible (in places like Phoenix, Las Vegas, Inland Empire) who are trying to sell and payback the HELOC they took out to purchase these homes. Come to find out, one of them is doing an interest only on their primary...

Real Estate Investing - How dumb can people get?

I have friends and co-workers who bought property through these seminars and such, and found themselves not just at a negative cashflow, but losing tons of their HELOC cash because they can't sell that house on the open market. They all believed that once you buy a home anywhere, herds of people...

Who are the slow drivers on the freeways?

By the way, I am not a slow driver. I have gotten 2 tickets in my lifetime, and both of them were for tailgating the guy in front of me. 1 ticket I still think was bogus. I don't understand how I can get a tailgating ticket when I was in the middle of the 405 parking lot in the afternoon commute.

Who are the slow drivers on the freeways?

<p>Trooper,</p> <p>I think you got it right. If they stayed on the right hand lane, there are cars constantly coming in and out of their lane from the traffic that is leaving and entering the freeway. They don't have that distraction when they are in the far left lane, especially the carpool...

Who are the slow drivers on the freeways?

<p>Trooper, </p> <p>Can you give us more details on that law change effective next year? I'm hearing a lot of ambiguous things, such as if under 20 no cellphone use at all, 20 and over hands free ok, etc....</p>

Who are the slow drivers on the freeways?

<p>The fact of the matter is this: anyone who gets on the road better be well prepared for what lies ahead. Not everyone drives as good (or as bad) as I do, and everyone has their good days and bad days. No market research will tell me what I will face on the road on my way home from work, and...

Who are the slow drivers on the freeways?

<p>I am no mad scientist, but I will state what I have observed in my 'short' lifetime.</p> <p>Driving on Westminster and Bolsa between Magnolia and Brookhurst requires tremendeous amount of patience. I do love the gas prices on Magnolia and Bolsa, and I do love the bowl of Pho at Thanh My...

Laguna Crossing & Orchard Hills Postponed to 2009

<p>hyu1997</p> <p>What bkshopr has so far stated has many levels of truths, which might not apply in all cases for obvious reasons. Yes many of them have gone through hardships raising their children, and they should be commended for their sacrifices. I do not believe bkshopr has tried to...

Laguna Crossing & Orchard Hills Postponed to 2009

<p>You crack me up Trooper. </p> <p>I think the sad part to this whole 2nd generation is that they have a high sense of entitlement. They want the independence of the parents, but they know they cannot afford the same lifestyle they grew up in unless the parents help them out in a very big...

Laguna Crossing & Orchard Hills Postponed to 2009

<p>"Typical" 2nd generation asians are not savers, they are spenders. I know way too many 2nd gen peeps who bought homes when they obviously could not afford it (interest only payments), and hoped to refinance when the prices increased in the coming years. I doubt many of them have any cash to...

High density for entry level buyers.

There is a very silly colored and designed homes on Garden Grove Blvd. between Beach and Dale... new 3 story homes with no rhyme or reason. Smack in the middle of auto repair shops and used care sale lots. I wanted to hear your comment on places like this popping up everywhere. (There are also a...

    Foreign money, who are they?

<p>I was born in Korea and registered in Korea under my family name. That has made it necessary for me to obtain an official document from the Korean Embassy here in the US that declares that I am a residing Korean in the United States, that I have no intention to live in Korea, that I will...

    Foreign money, who are they?

<p>For those kids who wish to evade conscription, they have to stay here in the states and cannot return home until they reach the tender age of 45 (I believe... I'm not sure of the age, but it's pretty high). Until then, if those kids decide to live, work, or even visit Korea, they may be...
