The lien is from the concrete company that my contractor had used. We were not aware of this until we received the notice.

After many calls to the contractors and subs, there seems to be some confusion and finger pointing about the payments.  I received a notice of Mechanic Lien from the sub couple of days back. Does anyone know of a good Real Estate attorney I can get advice from? Thanks.

Thank you for your response Irvine Dream. I am not sure if I need to respond to the notice. I got a copy of the receipt from my contractor. Wondering if I should call the subcontractor and find out if everything has been resolved between them.
