Our realtor has taken us to see alot of resales in Woodbury and Northwood.  When you look at the prices and the amount of work that will be required on the Northwood Pointe homes, new starts to make a lot of sense.

After seeing Stonegate today, we might go and check these out.  I had given up after Carmel, but Stonegate's Maricopa is nice.  I just think these are more expensive with less rooms ... how does that make sense?

We are like you and I find the whole thing depressing.  We are constantly saying to ourselves that it shouldn't be so hard and that buying a home should be a nice experience.

I love the Los Colinas floorplans and the only thing that is keeping me from pulling the trigger is the PS location.  It just seems so far out there.  I am sure in 10 years it will be a great place to live and we might even appreciate it being so far, but for now it still seems like the boonies...

Bottom line, things are selling and there are a lot of peoplenout looking at homes!

Yep, went by Sonoma today and everything is sold out.  I stopped by Carmel II and they have about 4 homes left from Phases 1 -3.  I just had to go and see how I would envision the the flex room.

Pat Star - That made me laugh .... Actually, when passing by Northpark and parts of Northwood, we thought the Guard was overkill too! However, after going into Northpark, we kind of liked it and were actually quite suprised by that.  ;)

Agreed.  There are some beatiful 3 car garage homes in Tustin Ranch going in the 900's.
