Camp James too.  They used to be next to Verizon Wireless Amipitheatre but I don't know where they went.  Only know they are stil around. Some of the summer programs take kids for swimming lessons too.

$for technology can only be spent on that.  $ for buildings can only be spent in that.  Period.  Strict rules.  Probably a good thing or we would have falling down buildings but highly paid union personnel. 

You can donate supplies, tell the teacher you need scholarship help if you can't afford it (they are very discreet and do not hold that against you), ignore the request or upset everyone and make a stink of it and hurt yourself and your child.  Just my two cents.

I personally would not take recommendations from strangers.  Ask your child's teacher or call your school district to ask for recommendations.  They won't be as cheap as a young person but good ones know how to teach based on how your child learns.

Strada and Terraza are on the east side of Culver in the non gated side I believe.  The gated side is to the west of Culver.  That means most of Orchard Hills seems to be TUSD.

Yes it will be an interesting experiment.  There was talk for a while about TUSD busing into Bechman from other high schools.  Weird boundaries.  Can you imagine your neighbor next door or across the street, being in a different school district?

I believe that the folks who are in the Portola Springs area will go one year to Westwood Basics plus (next to Sierra Vista Middle School).  It was a regular elementary school for a long time.  They are already set up with portables for childcare too.  Plenty of shade.

Go sit in backyards that are up for sale.  Sit and relax in ones that back to main or semi-main streets and sit in ones that have neighbors all around.  The go upstairs and sit for a while in both scenarios.  Walk around the block.  Take your time and see what you like.
