Has anyone experienced a spike in allergies (congestion, runny nose, etc.) since moving to Irvine - specifically Orchard Hills? Any input is appreciated.

If you're able to upgrade to whole house insulation, I'd highly recommend solid doors throughout. Just makes sense if your goal is sound abatement.

It's not cost feasible to add bi-fold doors later. It requires structural (steel) cross beam to support the greater open distance. Not easy retrofit.
