    Those are very fair reasons - we personally weren't swayed by TUSD personally, but for resale, it is a minor concern. We were also initially put off by the lot sizes, but were able to snag a home with a larger than average lot, so that became less of a concern. But all valid reasons!

    That's very true - it's all perception with IUSD - Irvine is a brand name, but little do they know that TUSD is right up there with them, and has fantastic schools.

    Not sure on that, I could ask them and see if I can get any info - I think some of the ones sitting may be the ones with smaller lot sizes - but eventually they will all sell out, it's a matter of time - our phase is getting released soon.     Capella may have only sold 27 homes out of 72 (or however many there are) but phases aren't released yet - They had a HUGE wait list when they started selling.     We were in the earlier phases, so it wasn't too bad - they are charging premiums for larger lots, but the price difference between phases isn't too bad, I think around 10K? Does anyone know if they are getting close to being sold out, or do they still have a significant # of homes for sale?

    We ended up choosing Capella over La Vita, because we didn't want the motor court, and ended up paying a bit more for a larger square foot lot. We were fortunate enough to get on the list where we could hand pick which Capella home to purchase, and ended up getting over a 4,000 square foot lot...

    EPA's final analysis of TCE - causes cancer (well duh)

    Any updates would be great. Does the TCE pose an issue anywhere else in Irvine as far as affecting the drinking water supplies? I know this is a stretch, but will areas like Orchard Hills, Portola Springs, or PP be affected - not just land, but water supplies?
