I fall in the 3rd category in the poll, and my now is 2009. Bad economy is working in my favor, and I am hopeful to find a good deal next year. I am not worried about my financial since I have saved up decent amount of downpayment and emergency fund.

A house needs to both affordable and a good investment. The house I would like to own, I cannot afford it yet. The house I can afford now, isn't a good investment. I guess that's why I am still waiting.

Education is important to some extent. I got my master degree, but in my current job, I hardly use what I learned in graduate school. The irony is that my manager told me he might never be promoted to be a director because he doesn't have a master degree.
