Watermarke 1 bedroom, 1 bath just listed for $315,900 (635 sq. ft.)

As Fraychielle said, the sad thing is that $315 is way too overpriced. Low 200's if you ask me. These apartments will be in the 200's by late this year, early next.

Interesting OC Register article on OC foreclosures

http://www.ocregister.com/ocregister/money/homepage/article_1665135.php 174 foreclosures a month in OC and many lenders are helping buyers, though many won't qualify. This will put at least a damper on major price reductions as there will be some that are saved.

your opinion on Watermarke Condos ?

dayday, you see these properties falling to 250K or lower? Would be a disaster for the current owners. Though, looking at the current prices and trends, it should drop. The funniest listing on Watermarke is the 2/2 listed for 925, where a comp is listed for 740. This guy is in la-la land...

Will the proposed Federal bailout Dodd and Schumer hurt us who have waited?

All the numbers everyone has pointed out are very interesting, especially the 15% loss of 25 - 34 year old in OC. Wow.

I think the bottom line is that people just can't afford to pay the current prices of homes or don't want to pay overpriced $ for a apartment, I mean home. My...

Will the proposed Federal bailout Dodd and Schumer hurt us who have waited?

I thought the bail out, like the current one in Ohio, would have current homeowners get into 30 year fixed rates that would allow them to keep their homes and not foreclose. Am I wrong?
