irvine123, you can see fire from Woodbury again? Last night and this morning I couldn't see any fire so I thought it was pretty well contained near us in Irvine?

Thanks EvaL. I was also concerned about where on Portola but couldn't find anything. I'm still not worried physically but if there's a voluntary evac I want to get my pets, pictures, and documents out of there. I'm at work in Fullerton right now.

EvaL, please keep me updated if you hear anything about Northpark. The OC Register site is worthless right now. I'm checking the OCFA website as well but no evacs in our area as of noon.

Don't want to jump to conclusions since we don't know for sure yet, but I feel really strongly that all these fires aren't just blown over power lines.

Yeah, we have our documents rounded up. I don't feel physically threatened yet or anything but evacuation could certainly happen. There was an overhead shot of some street in Irvine too with gnarly traffic. Not sure what it was but it looked like it could be Irvine Blvd.

Evalseraphim, they were saying earlier that there was some famous local pair of sisters in their 80s that were evacuated. They were some of Irvine's earliest residents. Wonder if that's them...
