Are Prado at Cadence Park detached homes? And before I even get too far is the mello roos insane?

Cox vs Uverse internet service 2019

Saw the old thread about this, but thought I shouldn?t bump it since there was a warning advising to make a new thread. If I move to Irvine I?ll have to change Internet service providers from Time Warner to either Cox or Uverse. Time Warner has been ok for us, maybe a couple times a month we...

How low can we go? 30 yr fixed at 3.75% with no fees...

Are there any lenders that offer rates on attached condos similar to detached? Or is there no way to get the detached rate on an attached condo? An example is Provident Funding. The rates they quote is 3.75 on detached for 30yr 10% down, but 4.25 on attached 20% down required.

Opinion on Portola Springs lower end homes, 700-850k

It does bother me, a lot, but as I said weve looked at a lot of homes in the are and haven't found a single resale we wanted to put an offer in on. The newer homes are designed like...newer homes. They don't have the washing machine in the garage for instance, which may sound weird is a deal...

We're gonna sit and think about this for a bit. Thanks for the responses. Well definitely visit all the models multiple times and check out a few more resales before committing fully.

Opinion on Portola Springs lower end homes, 700-850k

We definitely want a detached. The barrier is cost. That extra $600 a month to go from new condo to detached is a hard one to get over. We likely will though, either resale or new I don?t see us getting an attached. I mean we could make it work. Our budget started a lot lower and then when we...

Opinion on Portola Springs lower end homes, 700-850k

One advantage that a friend mentioned yesterday, she also bought a new home down near San Diego. She choose the next phase which let  her save extra for all the stuff you are mentioning like window coverings. We?d need a fridge and washer/dryer minimum too. Because any house in the 800k range...

Opinion on Portola Springs lower end homes, 700-850k

So if you were deciding between a new detached condo in Portola vs the Armory house which one would be a better investment down the line? Which one is more desirable? PS: 150? larger, loft/bonus, IUSD (Portola High) Armory: SFR, driveway, back yard, larger lot, $350/month cheaper, TUSD...

We actually saw two of those and were planning on checking out the Armory one. The Churchill one has a decent sized yard, but needed some updates for sure. I think the agent said we might be able to get it for 830. We just weren?t very excited about the layout and design. Maybe if a smaller...

Opinion on Portola Springs lower end homes, 700-850k

We are definitely going to consider the quick move in options, but for budget reasons we may need to get a December move. We can do 10% down now, but would rather save and possible either get to 20% or at least have some money saved for things like appliances, furniture. A quick move in at 800k...

Opinion on Portola Springs lower end homes, 700-850k

We?re definitely looking long term. 10-15 years in this property. We want to avoid moving too often especially if our kid starts school there. We?re honestly not investors or looking to make a ton on our home. We just want a nice, updated place to live in and so far the resales we?ve looked at...

Opinion on Portola Springs lower end homes, 700-850k

We are apprehensive going to the upper most of our budget, the plan 1 would give us a tiny bit more breathing room and the Carissa/Brisa would basically leave us with zero worries financially. That?s sort of why the attached Carissa/Brisa home is interesting to us. I get that it?s not the best...

Opinion on Portola Springs lower end homes, 700-850k

We like Plan one mainly since there are units available that are not in the back corner and are on the street. It?s also cheaper and about the same size. We also like the loft/bonus room better than plan 2s setup. Plan 2 yard is nice though and we like the walk in pantry. With any upgrades...

Opinion on Portola Springs lower end homes, 700-850k

We just started looking at new homes in Irvine, we're planning to move to the Irvine area due to work. But until now we were focusing on resales and honestly have been underwhelmed by what's for sale in our price range, 700-825k. We had assumed that the newly built homes would be a bit too...
