Not all tenant are bad, we are a tenant and we rented for the last three years. Never call our landlord for anything, pay rent on time and keep the house clean.
BUT once in a while you got a tenant from hell. The house is so filthy, you can't imagine someone actually living there. Then...
I should listen to my grandma.... don't save money, buy gold, but I thought we are in America now...who would buy gold? That is what banks are for, save your money in the bank.
So...now what? What steps do we need to take to protect ourselves?
I am sorry, but can anyone explain in plain term, how it effects small people like me? Should I withdraw all my cash from the bank and dig a hole in the backyard? Honestly, I really want to learn how it will effect us?

Do you also notice, most of the REO are facing South? We were told never to buy a house facing South, because it is not good feng shui. I noticed all the REO home which we see are all facing south.
What about cul-de-sac street? I remember my cousin brought her first home in...
Wow...luckily I can't afford the place...but the kitchen right below the master bedroom is a big no no...it causes divorce. As for the front door straight to the back door....money is going in and right out.....bad bad bad.

$ 499K for a attached townhouse with HOA and mello roos over $ 400 a month? They have almost 1/3 of the community in affordable program. I think all of their plan 2 is for affordable housing only.

Amazing info...I am going to print it out and give it to my brother, since he doesn't believe in feng shui. He almost brought a house with the stairs pointed directly to the front door.
I agreed Lawyer liz....a supervisor make a tremendous difference in your daily work life. If you get one that is a control freak and micro-managed....you won't learn anything. It takes a certain kind of people to be a good supervisor, just like it takes a certain person to be a good teacher...

We saw a TH listed in Westminster for $ 579K...they drop it down to $ 449K. My agent told me their new listing price is firm....since they have already drop the price. Hello people.....that is still $ 320 per sq ft.
That's it...I am not going to buy any houses. Not that I can't afford anything anyway with this interest rate keeps going up and up and price haven't drop that much.
I hated these MLS description...."Motivated seller...want to sell fast"....then drop the dam price.
I totally agreed with you JniWB.....we pay a premium for this wonderful weather, why would someone want to stay inside? A house is just a place to sleep, eat, and shower. I am happy with 1400 or 1500 sq ft.
