How much is your rent for your private rental?

We are moving at the end of the month to a private rental and am curious what others pay for their private rental. I think im getting a decent deal, but hell, anything compared to what i was paying could probably be considered a good deal. The IAC place we are leaving was a detached townhouse...

    IAC Move-out tips?

We are moving out at the end of the month from an IAC place, the lease says that paint should last two years (this is actually part of the renters laws). If your tenancy causes them to repaint the whole place then they will charge you on a prorated basis (if you lived there one year and they...

Why buy in Woodbury? It freakin stinks every other day out there.

I rent in woodbury and i have never smelled anything within the community. On occasion, driving towards the 5 on sand canyon there have been some bad smells, but not very often (although i always have my windows up with the AC, so that may help).

Where is the best place for pet sitting in OC?

I use Petminded - they are our daily dogwalker and they provide overnight services in your house, they charge about $60 for the overnight, they get there at 8pm and leave at 7am. You can do a mid-day walk for an additional $15. I think this is less...

Help me through with this logic....

Here is some real advice - stop making your payments for 90 days, hell make it 6 months, call your bank and get a principal reduction to 90% of the current value of your home to at least give you 10% equity and stay put. This is one of the few times you will be able to get a handout from the fed...

Should I get him THE bike?

from what you say, it seems clear that you can not afford it, if you dont have the savings to pay for it now, im guessing you live on your paycheck month to month? if that is the case you should first build up an emergency fund to cover 3 to 6 months worth of all your expenses, especially in...

    Bail Out the HELOC Abusers

All of this sh*t makes me absolutely sick! My wife and I are fortunate enough to be in the top 2 to 3% of wage earners in the US, we work hard for our money. It absolutely drives me crazy that my taxes (by the way Obama, i already pay my fair share) are going to a pay for dumb ass people like...

How long should it take to have a downpayment?

"If you have to finance an asset, it technically isn?t an asset." Technically it is an asset, which has a corresponding liability. You may not have equity, but you do have an asset. Sorry, the CPA in me had to correct that.
