New TI Member (Long time first time) looking for some help

Maybe you are right I don't see how a fireplace in the bedroom or bath is even remotely close to being a romantic factor. However, I don't know any Asians that wouldn't like a big yard...

New TI Member (Long time first time) looking for some help

I guess 3CG is not a requirement just a nice to have.. I really don't like having a formal dining room/living room for wasted sqft though... The fireplace and retreat in the master bed in most of the Tustin Ranch floorplans are silly as well...

    [Poll] Spending $1mil in Irvine

I don't know about anyone else.. but part of the reason I'm looking for a good school for my kids is for the type friends they would make, not necessarily for the academics or the API.

UC Irvine: Immigration made SoCal stronger?

I was being sarcastic dude... Batman is not racist, has asian wife and close friends of all races/ethnicities (black, white, asian, hispanic, middle eastern).  Batman does use stereotypes on all races (see more proof of not being racist).  If anything, asians in irvine are racist towards...

UC Irvine: Immigration made SoCal stronger?

TIL Batman is racist... I am Batman, Jamboreedude is probably asian and is probably more like Robin than Batman so figured he has to live with his shortcomings anyway and that is bad enough so figured i didnt need to call him a racist.

    Chinese, where would you live?

LIES! I doubt those dumpling nazis would give you more than 5 seconds to hand them your order. Their beef stew noodle is pretty damn good also (the restaurant to the right of it also has awesome beef stew noodle but Taiwanese style), that's what most ppl get when they run out of the popular items.

    Chinese, where would you live?

ok I've had it with this nonsense... Din Tai Feng is crap, it varies from location to location. The only ones I've had that were decent was in Shanghai. I can actually get frozen xiao long baos from one of the ex-chefs. You go through someone else to get them but they are made by one of the...

    Chinese, where would you live?

I was just using Black Hawk and Beverly Hills as analogy for Great Neck because they are well known prestigious communities. I don't know jack about architecture and never claimed that I did.

    Chinese, where would you live?

Hehe, it's actually a big deal for my family. I actually landed in NY when I first came to the states... We lived in Queens for a couple of months and eventually bought a place in Long Island. I am not sure if anyone is familiar with Great Neck, one can compare it to Black Hawk or Beverly Hills...

    Chinese, where would you live?

This is exactly what happened to Arcadia and exactly why I do not want to be in Arcadia... the community has become full of FCB's that just wanted a place to dump their money. There is little parent involvement for the kids as one if not both of the parents are overseas 80% of the time running...

I have not.. clearly I need to do more research. I knew West Irvine is zoned for TUSD and paid less attention after that... but I think my budget requires me to expand my search area a bit... I'm very thankful for all the responses I got today, now I gotta go do some homework.
