To give you an idea of cost...Venetian was $3000 cheaper than the builder's price for the exact same floor.  Venetian included my storage closet and coat closet for me where the builder said it would cost me an additional $900 for the storage and $250 for the coat closet. so I guess total...

I think that holds true for any teenage driver, not just the Asian ones.  And let's be real...I see more white kids driving rice rockets...The FCB kids are cruising in Audi, BMW and Benz complaining that their parents didn't buy them the model one higher than theirs.

Agreed, but the old Asian women drivers do make it annoying. 

Those SGV restaurants are also spawned in RH too...so not much different there either.  Irvine is made up of mostly chain restaurants which work out well for families.  I rarely go out to find foodie/hipster restaurants anymore after having kids.  Only when we can get a baby sitter..

It's all personal preference for you...My wife wanted white on white...so we picked a white granite.  I personally wanted a black granite to contrast, but wife wins most design arguments. So because we went white on white, we picked darker floors.  Although now we started to pick out furniture...

Being a product of the IAC apartments I agree with you, but going with his point, it is just opening the door to that demographic.  Yes it's a stereotype and I do believe it does more good than harm, but it is just a fact that petty crimes (theft, car theft, etc) are more common around low...

This is the only one I'll agree on...and only because Irvine agreed to Low Income Housing.  Living in a number of IAC apartments, there are definitely good families it helps, and some that just bring their bad families into a nice neighborhood to continue to do bad things.  BUT not solely...

not the first i heard about West Coast upping the costs on projects.  Plus I've seen their work, there is no creativity in it.  All their houses look exactly the same.

Good to know.  Aloha took me to a bunch of his customers sites that he did, and everyone seems pretty happy with what they got and the jobs looked pretty nice. He doesn't subcontract and he said he has two separate crews that work at the same time so he's doing 2 jobs at once at any given time...

how are their prices compared to like Aloha?

I too remember Woodbury being pretty sparse...Actually i was around when Northwood looked pretty bare too.  Just takes time for neighborhoods to mature.

If you're in Stonegate my neighbors told me the HOAs are getting crazy strict on the plants so if it's going to be visible beyond your yard, keep that in mind.
