Oil change for a Porsche is $400 at the dealer.  $232 from an authorized service center.  Oil change for my wife's Lexus is $85 w/ a car wash at the dealer and my Honda Accord is $45.  Granted Porsche's take 6 quarts of oil but that's a lot of moola.

As long as your default floor is carpet and vinyl, not tile, demo should be pretty easy.  Tile is just a pain to get all the mortar and grout scraped off the floor to make level for wood.
