the gates were open on woody knoll so i took a drive up there and got to see the views from the alta vista lots.  they are nice but it wasn't spectacular in my opinion.  yorba linda vista del verde and brea blackstone were better i think.  but yes you can see the tustin hangars,  spectrum office...

if you're talking between orchard hills mall and northwood high, that is neighborhood 2, most likely terrazza if it's on portola.  this development opened in 2014.

great info.  it seems like this neighborhood is becoming less appealing.  fewer SFRs than originally proposed, many more condos, and they've removed a few parks and an elementary school.  perhaps it's a good thing i didn't wait for it to open up.  do you know which tracts #s go into which lots #s?
