I did a search and most people complained about refis. According to them they guarantee a close on time for new purchases. They said it takes 30 days as they prioritize new purchases over refis.
The supposed "long" waiting lists are always full of uncommitted/non-serious buyers. The reason being is that there's no cost to get on the list. It's a marketing tactic that builders like Irvine Pacific often use. The honest builders will say, "while the waiting list is long, there are around 5...
I'd be here all day if I told you every incident I've had with them but to give you a couple of examples:
-Male salesman at Santa Maria in Stonegate was extremely rude to my mother and father in law that are close to retiring. They're in the market to buy a house and my mother asked him how...
Is it me or are Irvine Paciific sales reps really arrogant and snooty? I thought it was just one bad seed but wifey and I have been searching for over a year now and have had several bad experiences with their customer service. Someone needs to give them some honest feedback. Terrible!! >:D >:D
I'd like to share a referral on a contractor for those of you thinking of adding a glass shower door to a secondary or master bathroom, mirrored sliding closet doors, or custom glass tabletops. My dad has owned his business for over 24 years. His work is top notch. If you don't believe it, go...
Ok, so I'm planning on going with an outside contractor for the carrera marble countertops and tub deck because the design center is charging upwards of $4800.
1) Question is, should I do the TUB SKIRT through the design center or go outside for that as well? I'm going to use a gray arizona...
The standard backsplash heigh at the design center is 6 inches. That seems a bit high and I would prefer if it was around 4 inches. What are your thoughts? Below is a picture of our bathroom layout (but not the countertops or height).
The design center is charging around $4800 for the bianco carrera marble on the countertops of both sinks and the tub deck. We have a plan 2 at Las Ventanas.
1) Are there any advantages of going with the design center vs. outside contractor for countertops?
2) The standard backsplash is 6"...
This is for the shower. Thanks for the input. I think I'll pay to stagger the standard tile.
Also, they're charging me around 2k to upgrade the floor tiles in all the bathrooms. I'm thinking it's worth it just going with them so as to avoid warranty issues, plus how much more can I really save...
The design center is charging 1500 for white staggered subway tiles instead of the standard 6x6. Do you think it's worth paying that much for the shower downstairs?
We're moving into our house really soon and would appreciate it if you could post pics of your design choices (eg kitchen countertops, backsplash, bathroom countertops, living room, flooring, window treatments, etc). Thanks neighbors!
