    well: 1) its the one that we can afford as SFR. Other homes are in the upper 600s and 700s. I can afford max mid 600s but that's pushing it a little. 2) we looked at existing homes and this is actually a little cheaper than what we saw. Like Northwood II detached condo for $600k or 620k...

    IMHO, if you dont love it dont buy it. but i love the plan and i like Irvine and the value for these new homes are pretty good compared what the market is offering now.
