i'm really eager to hear the responses on this one.
they could try that 1800 that momopi brought up. or maybe momopi has a property to rent?
and as expensive as woodbury place is, they could do the plan one for 2000 with two car attached garage.
there is builder sq ft and there is appraiser sq ft. For this floorplan, I have seen both numbers used. And especially since this is a rental, I would imagine that the seller just plopped in that number.
i usually see a ~100 sq ft variation in the numbers.
are you thinking of...
brealiving, nice post! we need more posts with examples of specific numbers offered and declined. i'd offer my own, but i've never bidded more than 10k below asking price. (note: my offers occurred in 2004, not nowadays)
yeah it's so screwy. to buy, it's pretty much 3000/month for a condo. but for 3000/month you can rent a big ole house. so which one is better? you own the condo, but you could live in much more by renting...

Would like to see if anybody rents/owns in the following tracts, and how they like it there?
Aventura
Brio
Corta Bella
Tiempo (I used to live here!)
Las Palmas (I've seen rentals here for 2000+)
With HOA/Mello/taxes, renting in general almost seems like a no-brainer, especially for people living by themselves.
$1000/month for family of 5, semi-reasonable
$1000/month for a household of one? Might as well just go to Vegas every weekend
"You can pay your property tax relying on your IRS check from previous year."
I remember receiving my first property tax bill. Broke out into a cold sweat! Those things are brutal!
thanks to both IIIIIIIrvine and Fray for the responses. I was more looking for a more market-independent response. However, IIIIIIIrvine's warning to all of us should ring true, I think we all freak out after we make an offer and keep secondguessing whether it was too much or whether the...
