I'm enjoying an Anderson Valley Hop Ottin' IPA right now and will be heading down to the Stone Brewery this weekend for their "Winter Storm". There will be much beer consumed and fortunately someone else is driving!
It is important to remember that it isn't just the people who bought at the peak that are facing foreclosure. Many of those who bought at reasonable prices chose to HELOC themselves into an untenable debt load. So the actual foreclosure numbers are likely quite a bit higher than you expect.
Portland would probably be my choice if I had to leave. There is a terrific food, wine, and beer scene there. Interestingly enough, my parents moved from Portland to Irvine about 30 years ago. Still I can't imagine giving up the weather here.

My wife and I also had a bad service experience at Taco Rosa and decided not to return. We tried Gabbi's in Orange last weekend and found it to be pretty good, but a bit pricey. The al pastor there was top notch though.
Do you happen to know if they will have pequin peppers at the sale? I looked and couldn't find a list of peppers on the website.
On the rare occasions that I have been able to obtain pequins I have found their flavor to be incredible.
I like The Counter a lot. The burgers are solid and they have an excellent beer selection. I also like the sweet potato fries and the onion strings.

If I remember correctly the original Xbox did not have gold or silver Live accounts. There was only one type of (paid) account. The gold and silver types were added when the Xbox 360 was released.
I don't know if the accounts are backwards compatible.
