Montecito / Sonoma / Carmel Pricing

The 50K off might be reasonable but not for a 4 bedroom (at least for a true SFR).

    Contractor for cabinets

Thanks for the idea.  Need to be a little careful with boxing in the counter-depth fridge as it still needs room to ventilate.  The built-ins have the vents on the top.

Went by the sales office at Sonoma the other day.  They have one Plan 1 C left for $805,000.  I think its a corner lot, which might explain the price.

    Contractor for cabinets

I recently moved into a new Sonoma home in woodbury.  My wife and I and thinking of getting a built in fridge.  The cabinet maker wants $1500 for the customization of the refrigerator space.  I think this is highway robbery.  Does anyone have any recommendations for a contractor who can do this...

    Quantitative Easing - QEII

So I'm just about to get to a lock period for a mortgage (jumbo-conforming).  The BOA rep today said that the QEII might actually cause mortgage rates to increase.  Has anyone else heard this? As of today they are offering the same rate for a 30 and 45 day lock.  4.25% with no points or 3.875%...

    Built-in refrigerator

I took a look at the built-ins, counter-depths and freestanding this weekend.  The probably with the counter dept is they don't make a 42" (leaves a lot of gaps.  The freestanding has better features but seems to stick out a lot in the front.  I've not made up my mine but the way the sonoma...

    Woodbury Density

In the end the high density areas (townhomes and apts) will feel busy.  The SFR areas will proably be nice and calm.

Montecito / Sonoma / Carmel Pricing

It looks like the Carmel II project is taking up a lot of lots.  From what i say today it takes up almost all of the lots (except the ones adjacent to trabuco) right across from Sonoma.  Then it appears to go three rows deep + they have a stretch of lots along regal.  Does anyone who's been to...
