Ok does anyone have data on the median *rent* in Irvine? The rents are very high here, and I wouldn't be suprised to learn that people are willing to pay more than the average % of salary for the premium of living in Irvine. And try to remember, theres not a 'rent bubble' either.

I just want to say this is a <I>great</I> thread. The new median info is a good reason of why Irvine is going to crash softer then the rest of the bubble towns. On the other hand these seem outstanding arguemetns for why prices will continue to fall:

28 morro bay seems kinda ugly. I'll take 15 Paso Robles over that any day.

I bought used 8324 Opteron processors instead of new ones, saving me a couple grand. I've also taken up drinking Laphroaig instead of Lagavulin, saving me about 40 bucks a bottle. Del taco on tuesdays.
