i wont disclose any names because its none of my business, but if you look at the cowan heights/n. tustin area you can probably figure it out. (hint: look for overuse of carrera marble and white cabinetry...)
i hate apartment living. we live in a carraige unit above someone else's garage. its loud and there is nothing we can do about. we dont get complaints since we are over a garage, but i dont think the person above us sleeps. they walk and walk at all hours of the night and do laundry at...
jake - think about diversifying your area of interest. why irvine? there's a RE group making a killing in a certain area near us. i also know someone working the coast (with much more capital) who completed a deal that netted a very nice sum.
ok, but it's a bit embarrassing... these days, everything for me is off of yelp (time and convenience factor).... tinted car windows, handy man, movers, etc... (and I've been pretty happy with the results)...
found these guys on...
No that it's of interest, but I finally closed on selling my first place... (sad, but no regrets).
I realized why I always thought that selling a house would be tough (it's more than a hassle)... Termites in a 10 yr old home? You betcha! Buyers negotiating price after going into...

very good points being made here.
It's so funny hearing the story from the "other side" (realtors)... what I'm hearing:
- demand is so high with the market firming up... you should really buy now...
- buy now or be priced out... the economy is recovering so strong. this is the...
We were looking at the Field, plans 1 and 2. Indication was that it is ~$920ish for plan 1 and ~$950ish for plan 2.
I was supposed to "walk the lot" but missed due to work obligations. Haven't checked my email recently so I don't know if they sent anything regarding the appt.

If anyone is interested... it doesn't sound like anything out of the ordinary (in terms of the GP). The wife will be volunteering so I thought I'd post it.

timing was a bit off, but another (short sale) plan just closed in Camelia for $790... I just hope the market keeps coming...
I'd do it for you, but all the gear is down since we are moving soon. Last I heard from Karen (saleslady), they only had two plan 1's available.
Prices haven't really changed for quite some time. Plan 1 base price is $855K and Plan 2 is $960K. I don't know Plan 3 since it was never...
where did you move to?

Got a job after school in Irvine and have been here ever since. My wife grew up in Irvine, her parents still live in the...
hmmm... in my old age, i've relegated myself to just shooting around at 24hr fitness... but if there are donuts...
actually, doc says i need to drop some lbs, so it may be the right excuse (not that i'd run very much) to come shoot around.
is this an example? this never hit the market, it just hit as "pending"... listed at a WAY below market price...
